Training Courses
IMI offers two tracks of training: 1.) Philosophy of Indigenous Education (PIE) courses and 2.) Montessori training. Each track requires a separate application and tuition. During the academic training year, tracks are interwoven to provide Reclaiming Indigenous Education, Indigenous School Leadership Development, Montessori Training, and Indigenous Language-Immersion Approaches through the lens of Indigenous epistemologies.
Philosophy of Indigenous Education Courses
The PIE tracks deliver up to 10 training modules, one in each of the Keres Children’s Learning Center’s fundamental principles.
Schedule:
Fall: Reclaiming Indigenous Education
Spring: Indigenous School Leadership Development
Summer: Indigenous Language-Immersion Approaches
Tuition: $1,700.00 per person. Includes access to all course materials. Payment Plans Available.
Each Fall, IMI will offer AMI Primary or Elementary Montessori training through a partnership with the Southwest Institute of Montessori Studies (SIMS).

Participants in Reclaiming Indigenous Education may earn CEUs through Loyola University Maryland for the hours attended. CEUs are included in the course fee at no additional cost. After the training, participants will receive instructions to download their digital CEU certificate
